Ros has a diverse background studying Fashion in the late eighties with a career history starting in sales, moving into the fashion industry, catalogue production, supply chain and culminating in a career in Midwifery and specialising in Lactation and Infant Feeding.  She was motivated to retrain as a midwife after having her fourth child, achieving a first-class honours degree in Midwifery at Northampton University and joined Milton Keynes Hospital as a registered midwife in 2009. Over nine years were spent developing her career within the NHS maternity services in hospital and community settings, then specialising in infant feeding.   In 2014 she qualified as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and secured the senior role of Infant Feeding Lead Midwife in 2016 heading up the UNICEF Baby Friendly Project and qualifying as a tongue tie practitioner.

When pregnant with her fourth child and employed by a corporate business she lost her job. This led to a drive to find a solutions to coach businesses in how to support their employees through pregnancy, maternity and on their return to work, specifically focusing on supporting them to continue to breastfeed and flexible working.  With the aim to encourage mothers to return to work and not have to give up breastfeeding after their maternity leave, reducing staff turnover, sick leave, carer’s day and ultimately the gender pay gap.  As her Linked In profile states, she is an advocate for women and babies’ health, with entrepreneurial tendencies in the world of breastfeeding.
