I'm writing a book.
There. I've said it. Now it must be true!
I am writing a book. I have done a book chapter before, and I recently published my own gratitude journal, but this is a real business book.
I signed up to work with a book mentor, the lovely Karen Williams, and the dream of writing the book soon became a reality. She is going to hold me accountable you see! And actually make me commit to this project.
So I decided that I would write a blog tracking my progress whilst I did the writing. It will be nice to reflect on the highs and lows of the process.
So what will it be about?
One of my main coaching programs is 'planning your new future' or 'career coaching' and over the years I have been honing and developing my process in this area. I realise that I have a system that I take clients through. It's never the same, because no client is the same, but I have a variety of tools and techniques and guides that I use to get my clients the job they really want.
So, I'll be turning that program into a guided workbook and set of case studies to help people get the job they really want.
It's exciting and daunting at the same time. First step - plan my time to make sure that I can meet my deadlines!! off to clear the diary!
